Which NFL players step onto the gridiron with the cleanest looks?
With the NFL regular season right around the corner, players and teams return to competing for the ultimate goal — raising the Lombardi trophy. However, there is more to this league than just awards and hardware. There is an influence and culture of style that NFL players pride themselves on as they lace up for each game.
Let’s take a dive into which players bring the most heat to the gridiron.

5. Saquon Barkley
The No. 5 spot was undeniably the hardest to rank, but Saquon Barkley ultimately got the nod.
Barkley’s on-field drip is showcased through a variety of combinations of single sleeves, wristbands and tapes, elbow sleeves, leg sleeves and player-exclusive gloves and cleats.
Don’t let his humble persona fool you — Barkley is one of the league’s best-styled players. His individualized array of earrings, from his famous “26” to his personal logo, adds to his case, and his utilization of eye black makes for a clean look.
4. Jamal Adams
The nickname “President” speaks for itself. Jamal Adams means business when he takes the field, and like every businessman, Adams looks clean while doing it.
Adams’ swag remains distinctive as he suits up with at least four armbands. Pair that with his custom “33” thigh pads, wrist wraps, a revealing compression shirt, his favorite Jordan branded gloves and neck warmers and you have created the league’s most stylish safety.
3. Alvin Kamara
Alvin Kamara places himself third, showing why less is more.
Kamara entered the league with a gold grill, but when payday arrived, the Atlanta local upgraded to VVS diamonds. While balling out in New Orleans, Kamara continues to pay homage to his hometown through a “QC” chain, representing an Atlanta-based hip-hop record label called Quality Control Music, home to rappers such as Lil Baby and Migos.
Other than his bling, Kamara keeps his accessories minimal. His use of turf tape along both arms was something that he popularized into football’s drip culture. Kamara rounds out his look with tinted visors and expressive cleats, including mix-matched red and green cleats that he displayed on Christmas Day.
2. Jalen Ramsey
Two things are guaranteed when Jalen Ramsey steps onto the field: elite trash-talking and top-end flair. You can’t be the league’s best trash-talker and not be drippy while doing it.
Ramsey’s unique aesthetic begins with his backplate. Ramsey displays his jersey number like no other, rocking a five-dollar bill on his backplate. His self-representation goes even further with a Roman numeral five embedded into his already custom-made helmet, which includes a custom facemask and a tinted visor. Under that helmet, Ramsey honors his faith by drawing crosses under his eyes with eye black.
Ramsey accessories himself with a collection of custom thigh pads, exclusive cleats, double sleeves, player-exclusive gloves, a ski mask (depending on weather) and a mouthguard that always seems to be dangling.
1. Odell Beckham Jr.
Leading the pack is none other than one of the most influential players the league has seen, Odell Beckham Jr. (also commonly referred to as OBJ). From one-handed catches to “ramen noodle” hair, Beckham’s impact is everywhere.
Though his prime was short-lived, OBJ’s legacy of drip will remain undefeated.
A signature look of long scrunched socks, a single sleeve, a tinted visor, extraordinary custom gloves and a multi-million dollar cleat collection will forever be immortalized. OBJ is also not one to shy away from flexing his money as he has played with a $350,000 Richard Mille watch, custom Chrome Hearts cleats and gloves and showed off his amazing Joker set.
All-in-all, the game of football is always evolving, and the style put on display by these athletes is no different. Every decade players experiment with new ideas of how to accessorize and express themselves, and I for one am in on it. I love seeing the evolution of style and can’t wait to see the next new wave in the NFL.
